What we collect

Therapy Tally is built to track your practice's financial and scheduling data — not your clients' clinical information. We collect only what you enter to run the app's features:

Account information (name, email, password)
Session counts, cancellations, and no-shows (numbers only — no client names or identifying details)
Income, expenses, and income source labels you create (e.g. "W-2 — Group Practice," "Private Pay")
Billing information, handled securely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store your card details ourselves

What we never collect

Therapy Tally is not an EHR and is not designed to hold protected health information. We do not collect, request, or store:

Client names or any client-identifying information
Clinical notes, treatment plans, or session content
Diagnoses or any other protected health information (PHI)

Please don't enter any of the above into Therapy Tally — the app is designed around aggregate numbers (sessions, dollars, dates), not client records.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to power the features you use directly: pace tracking, forecasting, tax reserve estimates, and your own reports. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
